Today, many people have turned to writing articles online for money. Why? There are many reasons, one of which is that articles and other content are in demand with the constant growth of the internet. Writing online articles for pay is something absolutely anyone can do, and unlike affiliate marketing or blogging you can make money almost immediately. If you’ve tried to make money online, chances are you haven’t seen huge success – but you will when you try this.

Now you’re thinking “But I have no experience, I’ve never written a thing in my life!” It makes no difference, neither did I four years ago. If you can write on a 7th or 8th grade level and have a good grasp of the English language, you can earn a great deal of money writing articles online. Webmasters need content on a regular basis, and someone does all the writing so why not you?

It’s easy, and I wouldn’t lie to you. I had never done it before in my life until I decided I was going to become a ghostwriter. Primarily, the work consists of writing short articles (usually 300 to 500 words in length) about various topics, whatever the client chooses. It’s not even that difficult to write about things you are unfamiliar with since you have the world’s biggest research resource right at your beck and call – the internet!

How much can you make writing articles online for other people? It all depends on how much a client or content providing site want to pay, but I average $25 to $30 per hour so you can see that writing is extremely profitable. If you decide to start your own writing business, you can set your own rates so that you earn an hourly wage you are comfortable with, and that suits your needs and lifestyle.

From writing about fashion or traveling to law, Facebook, video games or fishing, the internet is your entrance in to a world where making as much money as you want to make is absolutely possible – through writing! Get started today – I’m rootin’ for ya!

Are You In Potty Training Readiness For Your New Puppy?

Have a new puppy? Here’s what you need to know about puppy house training. Once you know these basics, you’ll be in potty training readiness.

When you get your new pup home, you can use one of two puppy house training methods. You can either paper train your new young dog or you take her outside to relieve herself and establish an outdoor routine.

Paper Training

The paper method can be helpful when you’re in a situation where you can’t take your puppy out easily. For using paper to train, choose a place in your home that will be your puppy’s dog toilet training area. Cover that area with newspaper (putting a layer of plastic under that paper can be a good idea as well).

Every half hour or so and after you feed your new pet, take him or her to the paper area. Set him down and wait until he relieves himself. Then offer effusive praise. Go over the top with praise, and use as high a pitched voice as you can. Give your pup a treat as soon as he’s done his thing.

Now pick up all the paper except one sheet of it. Put down new paper and place the one old sheet on the top. Your puppy will follow her nose to the soiled paper, and she’ll begin to get the idea that that’s where she should do her business. Every time you repeat this process, you can reduce the size of the area you cover with paper until your pet is going on just one sheet of newspaper.

Outside Training

If you want your new pup to relieve himself outside, take him outside after he or she eats and every half hour to hour. Remember that puppies have small bladders. When you take them out often, you have a better chance of preventing accidents. As soon as your pet relieves him or herself, just as with paper training, give your puppy lots of praise and a treat.

No matter which method you use, keep an eye on your pup all the time when you’re inside. This way, you’ll catch your puppy when she tries to reliever herself. As soon as you see her start, make a loud sound to interrupt her. Then take her outside immediately. Scoop her up and carry her. When she continues to relieve herself there, praise her profusely.

Don’t ever scold for a mess. Your puppy won’t have any idea why you’re yelling at her, and it will just make her anxious.

If you remember these pet tips, you’ll be in potty training readiness for your new puppy.

Top Orlando Film Schools

The film industry in the country is one of the hardest to get into so why wouldn’t you give yourself every benefit that you can get? By enrolling in one of the top Orlando Film Schools, situated right next to Universal Studios and Disney World, you will learn the craft of immortal directors such as Spielberg, Hitchcock, Tarantino, and the Coen Brothers.

The single biggest advantage of attending a non-traditional film school is that while film students struggle through their math classes at four-year colleges, you’ll be trained by experts and sent to begin your filmmaking career in as little as six months.

Non-traditional yet renowned films schools such as the F.I.R.S.T. School and other film schools will help you so much as you embark on your filmmaking career regardless of your chosen area of interest – be it in producing, directing, screenwriting, editing.

The fact that several of the industry’s most successful directors never took a single film class prompts studios not to precisely take into account where the filmmakers got their film education. The two main Orlando film schools mentioned above have similar educational theories in that they really push for hands-on training for their students but their approaches are very similar.

The F.I.R.S.T. School’s eight-month program is broken down into four-parts. The first 4 months are spent learning the craft through lectures and demonstrations. Once the school is convinced that you’re up to the task, you begin doing around eight hours of independent studio work every week, on top of the instruction.

The best thing about the F.I.R.S.T. School is that it teaches its students all parts of the filmmaking process – it doesn’t differentiate people who like to do different areas of filmmaking.

There are also other film schools with a very unique educational program that doesn’t involve any classes, any final exams, or any professors. Rather, the school pairs you with a mentor, someone who’s presently working in the film industry.

True, you’ll still get the theories as you would in any other film school, but this you acquire with a real film studio as your classroom and the real film shoot as your project – of course, with working industry professionals as your instructor. Thus, if you ever hoped of seeing your name in the credits of the next Oscar winning film, might as well treat yourself with an education at one of the top Orlando Film Schools.

Learn Spanish Online and For Free

The number of English speakers who want to learn Spanish is growing. For many Americans, it is because they find that Spanish is rapidly becoming accepted as the second language all over the country. The’ Latin invasion’ is no more confined to areas around Miami and LA. For this reason, interest in learning Spanish is growing in the United States especially for children, as most adults feel that they have passed the age where they can acquire a new language. For most of us, cost or time is the issue. This shouldn’t be the case.

Begin any attempt to learn a new language with the idea that it is going to take time (probably years). You are not going to be speaking Spanish fluently in a month or two (although some language learning programs make that claim). It is better to spend just half an hour a day than spending 3 hours a day for a few days and then taking few days off. Not only will you get burned out very quickly but it is also not the most efficient way of going about it.

Today, just about anything you want to learn is available somewhere on the internet for little or no money. Although most sites are trying to sell you a product, many offer some basic Spanish lessons for free to get you interested with the hope that you will check out their product. It’s important to read reviews of any Spanish language learning software or Book/CD packages a company is selling. The site itself will always claim that they have the perfect product for you and that they can get you speaking Spanish in no time. It is always better to check reviews on sites like Amazon.com to see what people who have bought the product think of it.

The best way is to begin with sources that don’t cost a lot of money. Check out a few books (try to get something with CDs or tapes) from your local library, just to get a feel for what to expect. You may get lucky and find a couple of really good language learning packs there. After you have a good feel for what exactly you would like to learn, go online and do a search on language courses. You will literally get thousands of results (if not hundreds of thousands). Most adults want a learning methodology that is more practical, i.e. they want to learn practical spoken Spanish.

So rather than just searching for keywords like ‘spanish’, ‘online’, ‘free lessons’, you should use keywords like ‘practical Spanish’ or ‘learn practical Spanish online’ in order to avoid sites that just focus on grammar or the technical parts of the language. Some sites like the grammar section at Wikipedia, give you a good technical explanation of grammar but not a lot of examples on practical usage. You want to find sites that will acquaint you with the way the language is actually spoken, not just the grammar rules.

To get started, try About.com for some free Spanish lessons. They have plenty of material for beginners as well as some great articles about how to get started. Plenty of Spanish books are available to be downloaded for free from sites like Ebookee.com. There are some restrictions but you could get quite a few good books along with the audio portion for free.

Cisco CCNA Exam Tutorial: Using Trivial File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

One of the first things you do when you start studying for the CCNA exam is memorizing a list of port numbers and the protocols that run on those ports. If you’re an experienced networker, you know most of the protocols that are mentioned – DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, and so on. But there’s one protocol that you might not have experience with, but is actually vital for CCNA exam success and success in working with Cisco routers and switches, and that’s TFTP – Trivial File Transfer Protocol.

TFTP is basically FTP’s non-secure relative. There are no passwords, no authentication scheme, no nothing! As someone once told me, “If I’m transferring my files, there’s nothing ‘trivial’ about it.”

Great. So you’re thinking, “What the heck do we use TFTP for, anyway?”

TFTP is used in the Cisco world to perform IOS upgrades and to save configs to a TFTP Server. Cisco routers can themselves serve as TFTP servers, or you can use a workstation to fill that role.

If you needed to copy an IOS image to a router, for example, you could do so easily by connecting your PC to the router’s console port (via a rollover cable, right?). Your PC would need to run TFTP server software. There are quite a few free TFTP server software programs that work quite well – just enter “free tftp server” into Google or your favorite search engine and you’ll see what I mean.

Using TFTP in this fashion is a great way to have backup copies of IOS images or router configs right on your laptop. And take it from me, when the day comes that you need those backups, you’ll be glad you did!

Remember that when using the copy command, you first indicate where you’re copying from, then where you’re copying to:

R1#copy flash tftp

Source filename []? Example

Address or name of remote host []?

When performing such a copy, you’ll need to name the file you’re copying, as well as the IP address of the device you’re copying to.

Using TFTP to perform IOS upgrades takes a little getting used to, especially the syntax of the copy command. But knowing that syntax and how to use TFTP will indeed get you one step closer to the CCNA!

Don’t Get Burned With College Student Credit Card Debt

Most of the college students are inexperienced in the use of credit cards, many are already loaded with financial pressure for the reason that they are accruing college student credit card debt.

The trouble of excessive debt has many implications for a student. Several end up quitting of college completely so they can go to work full-time just to pay off their bills. Even If they are able to stay in college, but due to poor credit rating, it can affect their capability to rent an apartment, afford insurance and even get the job that will help them to disburse off their debt. The psychological effect on students due to financial stress can lead them into depression and in a few cases has been a contributing factor to suicide.

The solution for avoiding this debt is similar to what it is for avoidance of any type of credit card debt. So, the first thing for avoiding building up debt is to understand that credit card is not at no cost and that whatever you use has to be paid back when your bill arrives. So avoid overspending, do not buy things because they are on sale, sales keep coming and going and there is an always better offer each time. Buy only those things that you need. A pleasant thing to do is to put in order your every month budget and keep to it faithfully.

Another crucial preventive measure is to keep away from going for a second card. Some students have a tendency to go for multiple cards because of the low credit limit.

However, the only way to get out of debt is to stop charging and at all times pay more than the minimum. If more than one credit card has an outstanding balance, then begin paying off the one with the highest interest rate first, then move on to pay the next highest interest card, and so on.

Credit card debt doesn’t shy away from anybody. So it is not uncommon for student either. Even if the credit limit on college student credit cards is much lower, it is an even bigger threat because a lot of students are already in debt due to the advance they have taken for their education. If they pass out of college, they will payback not only the education loan but also their card debt. This no doubt is an added burden to the student.

College students credit card is intended to be treated like a training ground for seeking understanding and wisdom on credit cards usage. Though college, students need to think outside the box, but financially they need to live inside the box.

College students’ credit cards can be an invaluable tool for a student. While given that security and convenience, if used wisely a student will build the good credit rating that is wanted to secure other consumer loans, jobs, and lower insurance rate after graduation. The goal of college education is to make better your lifestyle subsequent to you graduate not ending up in debt. However, the puzzle is that even those college students who understand the nature of debt have unrealistic expectations about their power to repay. Their decisions to spend at this point may be driven by an unrealistic financial outlook that includes “drastically improved income.” Be mindful in using your card to keep away from being trap in college students credit card debt.

Is Your Inner Coach Supporting Your Goal to Succeed?

We live in a culture that believes there is a coach for everything. We have life coaches, business mentors, personal trainers, financial advisors, nutritional counselors, and experts of every flavor to help navigate all of life’s situations.

If you’ve ever worked with coaches, you know that one size doesn’t fit all. Some take a Marine Corps drill sergeant approach, in the belief that they can shout and badger you into improved performance. Others frame all feedback in the most positive terms possible to avoid damaging your self esteem. Many other coaches have their own mix of negative and positive feedback designed to push you past your comfort zone and into your area of peak performance.

Ultimately, however, it’s the coach inside your head that matters most. And in my experience, many people do not have a supportive inner coach. Often, it’s quite the opposite, which can hold you back from new levels of success.

The truth is, we spend far more time with the inner coach inside our heads than we will ever spend with any other advisor. As individuals and business professionals, we spend considerable time alone, and routinely must make decisions and take action with only ourselves to consult. We need to be able to rely on our inner coach to be on our side. This is especially true for solo professionals who lack the inter-office support that comes with a work team.

The goal is to develop an inner coach that is wise and fair so that you can play to your strengths and work around your weak areas. When you give yourself feedback, that feedback immediately impacts your energy level and your outlook. Negative feedback can stall your efforts and hold you back. Here’s a reality check: Do you often speak to yourself in a critical way? If so, you have a toxic work environment between your ears! The good news is, you can fire that negative inner critic and replace it with a supportive, wise and fair inner coach.

It’s essential to celebrate every win, no matter how small, and to look at mistakes as opportunities to learn, not as failures. Instead of being afraid of mistakes, see them as feedback you can learn from so that success is more likely the next time. As the old proverb states, “Fall down seven times, get up eight.”

The best coaches challenge clients to push beyond their perceived limits, to go outside of the comfort zone. Your inner coach should nudge you to do things you’ve never done before. Set a series of mini goals over a defined period of time, and check in regularly with yourself to see how you’re doing. Don’t wait for someone else to praise you; be the first to recognize and reward your accomplishments.

Good coaches know that there is more than one definition for success. Know how you define success and hold true to it. Feed yourself by celebrating your successes, taking time off, and sharing your wins with a supportive circle of friends or colleagues. And while you’re at it, help others celebrate their successes as well.

Don’t underestimate the power of your inner coach. Learn to become your own mentor, cheerleader and advocate, and you give yourself permission to feel strong, confident and empowered. People will notice the difference, and your positive energy will attract them to you.

Job? Career? Hey, It’s 2010!

I read a blog with interest today pointing out a searching for jobs versus careers.

First, I respect anyone taking time to assist job seekers, job holders, and even people like myself that read as much as possible. And the article was well written.

As I travel the path of career guidance, today is so different than years ago. In the past, I’ve worked on organizational development with solid results when it came to job families, salary ranges, job descriptions and guidance for managers and associates when to look moving up the career ladder.

I’ve seen many professionals from my organizational development days that have far surpassed my expectations and I darn proud of the accomplishments.

Today statistics continue to point to “six applicants for one opportunity.” Those are not good reasons to quarrel over opportunity.

Of course, to every point there mostly is a counter-point. High end positions in Oil-Gas, some areas of Information Technology including specific languages, Data Communications, and Finance seem to be “hot” today and should stay hot.

The issue with many professionals searching for jobs today is you-have-training-in-the-wrong-field. For example, there are mainframe programmers (typically COBOL) who did not take training in more current disciplines. Or they chose not to consider management positions if given the opportunity. Although there are selective few jobs primarily in contracting (work for a professional services firm for a specific period of time, then hope to be hired at another location) the key could be several directions; Back to school for additional training, or stay in COBOL and continue to take contract positions. Or change careers.

This all leads me back to jobs versus careers:

– If you need retraining, consider “No Worker Left Behind”

– If you have time, get retraining in something where you know you can earn a solid living and not be in this situation again. Specialized computer training, nursing, study and get that CPA, get a certificate for data communications

– Find an area that you can love and has a future. View sites to find the “Hot Careers”

Whatever you decide, do not sit around and wait for something to happen. BECAUSE IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.

You must have an action to cause a reaction.

If you don’t know where to start, seek a professional to get a reality check. Find out what’s hot, and what’s not. If it’s continued job search, find the professional. If it’s a new direction speak with your spouse, trusted advisors, whomever to get that guidance. Remember, this is a critical juncture in your life.
